Proven SEO Results
As SEO Consultants, we can preach all we want in terms of our abilities to better our clients’ Internet Marketing efforts, but proven SEO results are what SEO clients are looking for. Here are some strong examples of how I’ve helped previous clients and mentees how to translate Internet Marketing into strong businesses.
Case #1: Eastside Luxury Homes (Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond Luxury Homes)
Greg R. Benson was a new agent to our office in the Bellevue Keller Williams office . With no strings attached, I decided to help Greg and a few others learn how to market on the Internet to build their businesses. I liked the guy and thought it would benefit consumers to have a good guy like him help them with their home purchases.
Greg listened intently and now you can see where he is in terms of the “Luxury Homes” category in the affluent “Eastside” of Seattle, Washington. Even with a very competitive phrase like “Bellevue Luxury Homes”, Greg is on the first page of results:
With two of the other largest cities in the Eastside, Greg ranks in the top 5 results when people search for the phrases “Kirkland Luxury Homes” (#4):
and “Redmond Luxury Homes” (#5) on Google.com due to smart Internet Marketing:
The very interesting thing is that many Real Estate professionals are paying Google for what Greg gets for free daily. You can see in the following that there are other businesses paying good money (as much as $1 or more for a single click) to get the same eyeballs that Greg gets for free:
Case #2: Teach English in Korea (also “CDI” and “Chung dahm” brand related search terms)
When I joined the Gyeongsangnam-do management company of Chung Dahm Learning (aka CDI or Chung Dahm Institute and April English), the marketing for human resources was conducted all by the headquarters in Seoul. However, I noticed that Seoul failed to truly apply strong Internet Marketing & SEO principles to even their beautiful sites and strong domain name. As a result, they failed to get the traffic (and still do today) that they could receive if they did some simple changes SEO-wise. Nevertheless, my first task was to create an Internet presence and start to get the traffic for prospective candidates to not only find us, but to learn a lot about Injoong Education (the parent company of the 15 branches of CDI & April English) & start applying for positions in our company.
The first and foremost task almost any SEO project should help you as a website in terms of keywords is the name of your company. When people were searching online for “CDI Busan”, they actually saw many other results for message boards and all sorts of other advertisements related to our Seoul headquarters unrelated to what CDI Busan was like as an employer. Now, management thanks me almost daily that internet users see this:
As a result, very few users now get frustrated and directly click to the “warm and friendly” website that many prospective teachers say the website feels like. As a result, CDI Busan now receives many applications monthly due to this simple, but yet effective placement for the company.
On top of the simple, direct and most obvious phrase needed for CDI Busan, phrases for prospective teachers like “Teach English in Korea” are critical for the company. Ironically, the company’s portfolio of websites we built including the following “ESLPlacementKorea.com” website now places even higher than the Corporate recruiting’s website which naturally should rise far above the local websites of CDI Busan if optimized correctly.

Teach English in Korea Placement above our Headquarters
The Corporate website fails to even show near this placement in Google’s Search Engine Results Pages, but their outsourced website does fortunately at least trail at the bottom of this page.
Even more importantly, competitors pay as much as $1.31 - $1.78 for each single click off to the right because they don’t know how to optimize and do some simple organic search engine optimization.
We get these clicks for free!!!

Lots of paid competition for the phrase we get for free
The optimization also applies to the traffic that filters through Yahoo as well. In many places, we beat our Corporate HR departments online. Check out CDI Busan as one of the top 3 for “CDI Teaching English.”
Again here for the phrase CDI Teaching “English Teachers“:
And RIGHT above the Corporate’s site:
The interesting note is these results all are from very limited SEO on our websites and the overall Internet Marketing plan. The position I hold fails to allow me to fully implement many more strategies and has such a small budget that if given the time and money, CDI Busan’s online properties could dominate all “teach in Korea” or the like search keywords related to the business of English as a Second/Foreign Language in Korea. The management doesn’t ask because what I’ve done thus far achieves all their financial goals and they are satisfied enough with what I have done.
In a very short period of time and with limited projects, I’ve already proven I can do for clients:
- Rank in the first 3 results for a number of important keywords for clients
- Over 35,000 hits & 28,500 unique visitors to a personal blog along with a Google page rank of 4
- Translate Internet Marketing efforts into a 6 figure salary in Real Estate
